Another great SUNDAY GROOVE: lovely whether, lovely people – and musical madness by our guests Ben* and Kieran and the Alaaf and Kickin’ crew. The journey went from House to Afrobeat, from Disco to Acid and from Electro back to house – just as we like it. The party animals seemed to appreciate it, check the videos below
We had a magnificent time and once again would like to thank all those who helped, played and danced – you were fantastic! Mark July 12th in your calendar! Just sayin´ <3
Since our first Alaaf and Kickin’ Sunday Groove has been such a blast, we were really excited about this one, and looking back we can say that we once again had a super-lovely time. Even though the weather forecast was not very promising all week, Petrus came to his senses and blessed us with many hours of sun and seeing so many beautiful people hanging around and enjoying the music must have made him really happy.
In the evening after the theater-performance next door was over, we turned up the volume again and Tobias Thomas and Sven Howland quickly managed to fill up the dancefloor and made us dance deep into the night.
We once again want to thank everybody who came down and supported us with their donations and beautiful vibes. Special thanks go out to Till and Mathis from Etepete for the perfect organisation and of course to Sven and Tobias for playing a wonderful 4 ½ hour set. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
We had the most wonderful time at our first ALAAF and KICKIN’ Sunday Groove! With the great help of Mathis and Till from the Etepetete crew we built ourselves a small paradise at Friedenspark right in our neighborhood in Cologne. Our friends from Aroma Pitch played a wonderful three-hour set in the late afternoon, dropping some deep and smooth house-tunes while people where chillin’ in the sun. Later in the evening, with the sinking sun in the back and tasty Kölsch down the throats, more and more people found their way to the dance floor; Simon, Jannis, Hugo and Magnus jumped at the chance and drove people crazy deep into the warm summer night. Seems a little more exciting than spending your Sunday night watching “Tatort”, right? We want to thank the wonderful crowd for coming down and supporting us with donations and tons of love! The next Sunday Groove will go down on 27th of July. Hope to see y’all there! Peace!
